Help - Posting pics on the Forum

Post by ADMIN » Sun Mar 30, 2008 5:34 pm

A picture is worth 1,000 words, so it can be helpful to include images in your posts.

Option 1 - Your own webspace

Firstly, upload your images to your own web space.
Photobucket is a great FREE site that is easy to use and manage.

Then when posting here, simply put the image tags around the image URL, like so:

Option 2 - Upload to VK Logger Discussion Forum as attachments

There is a second method, which may be more convenient for those that do not have the ability to upload pictures to a web server.
You can directly upload images into your post right here, as an attachment.

The following is allowed:
Max file size: 2MB
File formats: Too many to name, but included: JPG, JPEG, GIF, TIF, TGA, PNG, PDF

How?
Easy.

When creating a new post, look below for the "Upload attachment" tab.
Click on that, and you can browse for your image, add a caption, and add it to your post.

(Larger images will reveal the scroll bar.)

1) Click upload attachment
2) Browse your computer for the JPG, PDF, whatever
3) Enter a caption
4) Click add the file
5) You can preview your post with attachments, before 6) submitting your post.
